Tekton Building group started as a small housebuilder and has quickly grown into a medium-size housebuilder that will greatly influence and history within the market. With over a decade of experience working in the building industry, building family homes, and bringing dreams to reality. We have thus seen a need to create a bigger footprint here at Tekton Building Group. The name Tekton comes from the ancient Greek word meaning “Master Craftsmen”. We pride ourselves on the entire building process, not just the construction side. We take you on a journey from design through to development and approvals all the way through to the final piece of construction. We understand most clients’ single biggest asset in their lifetime will be their house. Tekton Builders have a unique process that we follow in order that all the particulars of what you envision and are trying to achieve whether it be a new house build or a renovation is achieved with success
Tekton building group has also developed one of our most important features to our company the “Construct Smart App”. This app was designed as a result of seeing too many builders and homeowners go down the vicious cycle of court claims and defect reports. We have found through research and development that this could have been avoided had an ordered way of documentation and communication been available in a logical and easy to follow way. That’s why we came up with Construct Smart, and easy to use app that allows homeowners and Builders to communicate in one source where all documentation is checked and everything is signed off by both parties. It brings text message, email, phone and site conversations into one easy to use a format that makes all building projects and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Tekton Building Group, a building construction company was started by Shane Leggatt, the owner of the company who previously had experience in other building companies. From a young age, he was very passionate about construction and was always interested in building and creating new things.
Tekton Building Group is developed with new spirits and lofty objectives by Shane Leggatt who believe that, “My greatest passion is to see a standard house that people frown upon and transform it into a “HOME”, something special that the whole family can enjoy. My gift to see the possibility in something where others cannot see it, and bring their dreams into a reality is something that brings me enthusiasm and excitement. I grew up in a small house in a small country town in NSW, we didn’t have excess stuff as kids, but we had the necessities. After travelling across the world visiting places such as Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Malaysia, India and Malta and working with these people building up communities and bringing life to people in need. The result of these experiences and opportunities has brought about a passion to create value and life for families that people thought could not have been possible. This all starts with a number one necessity in life which is a roof over our heads.”

Shane has an unrivalled passion for the building industry. He is a fully qualified and registered residential builder and of Project Management. Shane prides himself on his ability to successfully manage projects, attention to detail and providing solid advice to clients.
Shanes broad experience in the construction industry allows him to provide effective leadership to his skilled team, and timely, open and honest communication to clients.
